DELIVERY & RETURNS
We always endeavour to send your order the same day it is received, between Monday and Friday (approximately 2.30pm cut off). Orders placed after 2.30pm approximately will be received on Monday and those placed between late Friday and Sunday afternoon will be despatched on Monday for delivery on Tuesday. This applies to our Courier Service, Royal Mail Special Next Day and Parcelforce 24 only.
In using Royal Mail for our delivery service, we are bound by their conditions. For First and Second Class items, a period of fourteen working days must be allowed before making a claim for lost goods. This is 28 days for international packages. Special Next Day delivery can be dealt with immediately after failure of delivery.
Any returns made under the distance selling act (this excludes perishable items like tea) must be made by a similar signed for method at the customers expense.
Returns & Exchanges
In the interests of preserving hygiene we can only accept returns on non-perishable items such as accessories, tea caddies, tea infusers, teapots etc. If upon receipt you wish to return your goods, we ask that you notify us of your intention to return within 7 days of receiving your order, following which you have 30 days to send your items back to us.
When returning your items you will be responsible for all postage costs incurred. Once we have received your returned items, we will provide a refund direct to your account or can provide a credit note or an exchange. If you wish to exchange your items for another product then we are happy to, provided it is of an equal value.
As the majority of our products are perishable items (tea), we only use the highest quality airtight packaging to deliver your goods. All our deliveries are sealed in store and will arrive unopened and fresh, with an average 18 month shelf life.
